What to Expect With VERAMYST
What to know when you start taking VERAMYST
If your doctor decided to prescribe you VERAMYST, you may feel your seasonal allergy symptoms begin to improve within a day. Year-round allergy symptoms may begin to improve after four days. Maximum relief may take several days.
The effectiveness of once-daily VERAMYST depends on regular use. As with any medicine, results may vary.
Here's what else you can expect:
- VERAMYST is scent-free.
- VERAMYST Nasal Spray comes in a unique device. When pressed, the mist-release button on the side of the device delivers the same amount of medicine.* A viewing window lets you see if there is medicine left in the bottle.*
- Side effects may include nosebleed or nasal sores. Nasal fungal infection, glaucoma or cataracts may occur.
*Do not use VERAMYST after 120 sprays (after initial priming) because consistent dosing cannot be assured even though the bottle may not be completely empty.
